Hey! Two at once! It's like London Transport Buses! Made these two quilt from Pam and Nicky Lintott's pattern "Sparkling Gemstones" in their book Jelly Roll Quilts. Loved the idea for large patterned fabric and it's so easy. Quick and effective! My kind-a-quilt!


The first quilt has the sashings all from the same fabric, The second one has different sashings from a jelly roll. You've got to love Peg's Pieces. They came up to the Illawarra Quilters' Retreat at Stanwell Tops and I bought 11 pre cut pieces
6 1/2" X wof in the black, red and white (in a great tin with a see-thru lid), together with a black and white Jelly Roll. Then I strip sewed one B&W strip either side of a R,B&W and cut into 10 1/2" blocks.
